Monzo, Vice Chair

TS was until recently the Group CEO of Monzo, the largest digital bank in the UK. He spent too long in the financial services, banking and payments industry (Visa, Citi, Capital One and Standard Chartered) before finally reaching Monzo, and fulfilling his dream of helping to transform the banking industry for customers.

He joined Monzo in 2020, taking over from the founder in the early days of Covid lockdowns and an existential time for the company. By the time he stepped down in early 2026, Monzo had annualized revenues of $2.5B, over 15 million customers, 3 years of profitability and a European banking licence as well.

He remains passionate about continuing to build and scale a truly mission-oriented company, which transforms the relationship that people have with their money. He has lived and worked in several countries.
